Healthcare Services Advice
Although our National Health Service is considered to be one of the greatest in the world, we tend to fall short when it comes to looking after our teeth.
Your dentist should decide how often you need to visit them based on the condition of your mouth, teeth & gums.
If you don't already have a dentist you should try to get on your local dentist's books. Here are a few local dental practices: www.eclipseorthodontics.co.uk in Leeds, Bow Lane Dental in London, 32Whites in Manchester, HX Dental in Liverpool to name a few.
Whilst we would advise everyone to try to get at least 30 mins of exericse per day, it is important that you know what you can and can't do. If you are unsure, seek the guidance of a personal trainer at a gym or speak to your doctor. Some people over 65 may be able to do lots of exercise, others not as much. But it is important for your health that you do what you can. It is also important to take practical precautions when exercising. You should be careful to avoid pulling muscles or injuring yourself by exercising the wrong way, but if you do get hurt make sure you have the proper supplies for sports injuries such as ankle strapping, supports and braces and first aid kits, so that if you do get hurt, you have the right equipment to treat it quickly.
